Bab 152: Dairon's beloved

"I am not of the same kind as you, demon." Dairon glared at him.

"Yes you are." Ulke let out a maniacal laugh. "Wait. You still don't know that you are."

Dairon frowned. What did he mean by that?

"Do you know why Catalyah turned to me, Dairon?"

He didn't want to hear it but deep down, he knew that he wanted to know. Although Catalyah didn't exactly turn to Ulke out of her own will, she did betray him by being ready to tell King Rian his identity as soon as she found out. If there was a reason that might make Jasmine want to betray him in future, it would be great to know so he would prevent it.

"That's because you are too full of yourself." Ulke laughed at his so-called reason.

"Who would want to be with a demigod who thinks he is much more powerful than he actually is? You are so narcissistic that you treated her as though you were doing her a favor by being her mate."
