It was already 2:34 in the morning. Lu Mengjie couldn't sleep. Whenever she closed her eyes, the memory of Yong Liwei's betrayal was playing nonstop in her mind. She left a mental note to herself. She couldn't stop her tears from spilling this time. The words Yong Liwei said earlier, his confession only made things hard for her. Was this another one of his schemes to manipulate her? She didn't know what to believe anymore.
