~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Heading to Kemro's Palace, Nal Hutta)~~~
I can see Kemro's massive palace at the other end of the city, and it seems he's had a boost in Credit income. But I sense that's ending soon. Reading Kemro's mind is a simple task, and I see he's upset since The Senate and The Republic are now at War with The Sith Empire.
But my current attention is on all the people staring at me. Bounty Hunters, Mercenaries, Smugglers, and your in-between criminals. No one is approaching, but I sense trouble ahead.
After a few more minutes of slow walking, I look forward and see the source of the warning The Force was giving me. There are a bunch of Mercenaries and Twi'leks blocking the road. Reading their minds, this is about Ryloth and what I did to it.
"I've been in this situation before, strangely..."
I remember this happening a little while back. Twi'leks that lost people on Ryloth came to find me and try to put an end to me.
"We've been waiting here for you since you left... We knew you'd come back, and now that you're here. We can finish what you started."
My eyes set on the man speaking. It's a Twi'lek male that has a deep voice and is wearing thick armor. This could easily be settled by simply crushing all of them with The Force. But I shouldn't use The Force to solve all my problems.
I hold out my right hand, and my lightsaber hilt flies into it. Igniting in the process. They all raise their weapons, prepared to fight. But there are a few hesitating. And the leader looks at them.
"Raise your farking weapons, soldiers..."
I'm feeling a little ignored here, but letting this play out could be interesting. I sense their fear and apprehension about fighting me. I use this opportunity to send thoughts of what I've done to people like them into their minds.
Talk about horrible. They drop their weapons and run. The leader tries to shoot them, but I stop the bolts with The Force before they hit their targets.
"Y'know, they're just scared. I applauded their sense of danger and survival. I can't say the same thing for you and your remaining men."
The ones that have remained are only here because they have nothing left to lose. Everyone they cared about and loved was lost on Ryloth when I broke that world with The Force.
Finding my parent's dead bodies there... That still causes echoes in me...
"You're dying today. Nothing is changing that."
I highly doubt that. I leap into the air and toward them. They shoot at me with their blasters, but I send the bolts back the way they came. Killing most before I land in front of the leader. He throws a punch, but I catch it in my bare hand and crush his fist.
Force-Sensitives and Force-Users have greater strength than most people. And given who and what I am, he doesn't stand a chance. I kick him away, and he hits a wall. I take the heads of the last two men, and I turn to look at the man I sent into the wall.
I kicked him so hard he's pissed himself.
Instead of killing the war veteran Twi'lek. I put my lightsaber hilt on my belt and walk away. He'll serve as an example to those who want to come after me.
It takes a few more minutes, but I eventually reach the palace, and I make it to Kemro's throne room. As I enter, everything quiets down, and eyes are on me.
"Nathen! It's good to see you!!"
Kemro is useful, and allowing him certain liberties when addressing me is a must. I control the most powerful Hutt in the Hutt cartel these days. No need to ruin that.
"Greetings, Kemro. We have much to discuss."
He claps his hands, and everyone leaves the room except for his top bodyguards and his personal droid.
"The Fleet you order is almost finished. And it's got everything you could want. Even upgraded weapons from Balmorra. Friends of yours there sent your ships weapons."
Ahh, yes...
Balmorra. I remember that world. I helped it regain its independence, and they'd give me weapons for my fleet in exchange. It's good to see they hold up their end of the bargain.

~~~(POV: Darth Marr)~~~
~~~(Location: Personal Flagship, Hyperspace)~~~
"Dark Lord, the offensive campaign to attack Corellia is... Ambitious, to say the least. But I can see reasons why it'd succeed and fail. They'd never suspect we'd attack such an important planet at the start of the War."
Admiral Barman is one of the few Admirals I know that's not interested in personal gain. He's trying to further the Empire. We need that. We're in a full-blown war now. There is no room for glory seekers in my ranks.
"As to the reasons it'd fail, Admiral?"
He wisely stated the good reason before the bad.
"It's the same issue the Empire has always had. To many Sith are divided. We'll need 2 more Dark Lords of the Council to pull this off. Do you think you can convince them to help?"
Darth Jadus might... But he's too focused on progressing his own power. Being dominated in Force Powers by Nathen Opal humbled him. Opened his eyes to show him he was not invincible.
There is one I know who will be interested in it. Darth Vowrawn. He'll be more than willing to take on this campaign with me.
Another... But they're not a Dark Lord... Or should I say she...
"I have 2 that could help, but one of them isn't a full-blown Dark Lord. Darth Vowrawn will be more than willing to undertake this with us. And I've heard of a Female Sith Lord that could be what we need..."
I've heard many things about Lana Beniko, but in the end. I'll need to see her in action before I actually decide to add her to my power base. So as of now, that wouldn't work.
"But in the end, we'll have to make do with Darth Vowrawn. I'll reach out to others, but this is the best I can do at this moment. Admiral, I want you to contact your allies too. Taking Corellia in the first stages of the War will be like The Sacking of Coruscant."
The Admiral lowers his head, and the hologram turns off. One of the many Captains under my command makes her way to me.
"Lord Marr. We've received transmissions from our spies on Corellia, and everything is ready for our invasion. All we need now is to move our forces into position and strike."
This is going well, and The Force isn't warning of anything that I haven't already foreseen.
"Good, Captain. Tell our forces to standby and wait for my signal. There are a few more things I must handle before we give the signal."
~~~(POV: Satele Shan)~~~
~~~(Location: Republic Flagship of Trinity Fleet, Hyperspace)~~~
"Now, why would we need to reinforce the fleets protecting The Core Worlds? The Empire wouldn't be that bold to strike so deep into our territory."
Listening to 4 different Admiral debates on what will and won't happen is getting us nowhere. And it's time that I step in.
"The fact of the matter is we don't have enough ships or troops to reinforce The Core Worlds. We'll be moving to make a Preliminary Strike on The Empire. We're hitting Ziost."
The Generals that are in attendance, along with The Admirals, are all silent at my proclamation. This is the plan. We take Ziost and gain a powerful foothold in Imperial space. If not, take it, level the world and move back to our borders and wait for a response.
"That's one of the most insane ideas I've ever heard, Grandmaster Shan. Even if we had the Fleet power to do so, what makes you think we can?"
There are many things I've learned in my time as Grandmaster of the Jedi Order. And one of those lessons of life was sometimes it's far easier to take control of something with the help of a few talented individuals.
Theron has agreed to help in the endeavor, and he's already on Ziost making sure things go smoothly. We've got other agents helping, and when we arrive. Everything will be ready.
~~~(POV: Theron Shan)~~~
~~~(Location: Ziost, Safe House)~~~
Meeting up with Nathen has to wait until I'm done with this. The Republic needs my help more since we're at War. I took a little... Vacation and handled some things. And now I'm back doing my job.
I've already got everything ready on Ziost. I'm waiting for Satele to give the signal, and I'll shut down the planet's entire power grid. Leaving it defenseless.
