Bab 29: New Future
Years passed since the whole incident with Maria and her other identities. Maria had decided to try and make a medium with the different identities; however, there was one thing that surprised everyone.
Signs covered the streets of Sternbild with pictures of Maria. New Future Concert. That was what each of the posters and signs said. Maria was starting her singing career again at the age of thirty.
The heroes as well as Yuri were inside the café loved by Maria. "I can't believe she's coming back as a singer!" Karina spoke out.
That's right, Maria wasn't there yet. There were signs all around the café that the heroes were hanging up. Yuri was making sure the orders were right for everyone. They were all welcoming her home after her trip to Paris to visit her parents' graves as well as her old home.
They were glad surprised when they heard the call so late since they believed that she didn't want to come back, but they were proven wrong when the sudden yell of "She's coming" came out from Pao-lin.
Maria was still short as ever, but nothing really changed about her. She stepped into the café only to be surprised by everyone inside yelling "Welcome home Maria!"
The raven froze there in shock at the scene before her. She looked between everyone and gave a bright smile. "Y-you all missed me that much?"
They smiled as they nodded. Nathan grabbed her arm and dragged her to a table and Yuri brought her the drink she always ordered. "Of course we did. We're all family"
The raven smiled, tearing up slightly. Everyone hurried over to her and hugged her tightly, showing how much they truly missed the female.
Even if their partnerships didn't meet eye-to-eye, they still became friends and family at the end of the night. Cheers echoing through the café as they all celebrated the times they spent together and how much they missed Maria. Ivan even had a chance to talk to her in private; however, what was said is given to the imagination.
