Bab 31: Chapter 30

Kaeleb hadn't come downstairs again once. She hadn't heard from him at all and even though Rebecca, Selena and Zander had been down there, none of them had given her any message from him. She looked at the opened door. She had been here for hours now. She was seated on the dirty ground, not even trying to walk out of the room. Her mind was playing tricks on her, making her feel like she wanted to be here and stay here, she didn't want to eat or drink. But she could feel that she was starving and thirsty but it was pushed aside, in the far back of her head.

She looked up when she heard footsteps coming down. Rebecca and Selena appeared in the small corridor. Rebecca had had to leave her to go with Selena when this one had decided to go into town to change her mind. It probably hadn't been easy to do so when the person who was having her all worked up has to stick by her side at all times. But she was sure Selena did a great job at ignoring Rebecca's presence.
