Bab 19: Chapter 18

Another day had passed, it would be their second night in Lypeno territory now. Livana was exhausted, she had slept well the night before but all this walking was tiresome, she wasn't used to it. Kaeleb didn't seem to mind the walking at all though. He was always ahead of her. She knew she was slowing him down, if it wasn't for her maybe he would already be on the other continent. She'd seen a glimpse of his speed the night before when he had disappeared from next to her and been standing by a tree in a fraction of second. She hadn't really been thinking about it until today since she had been behind him all day. She wanted to ask him about his capacities as a blood-wolf, she wanted to see. Nathaniel had always refused to show her anything.

"How fast are you?" Livana couldn't help it, she wanted to know.

"What?" Kaeleb asked not stopping nor looking at her.

He was being extra cautious since they had crossed the border to Lypeno territory the day before.
