Bab 280: The difference in their relationship

"I slept in my friend's apartment," Elsa lied. She invited Haikal to sit on the edge of the bed and hugged him. There was a sense of regret for having left his son yesterday.

"Why don't you answer my calls?" asked Alex still in his fiery rage.

"Because I don't want to talk to you," Elsa replied then turned to look at Alex. "Please don't complicate things. I'm tired, I want to rest."

"But you're outrageous!" growled Alex.

"And you only care about Bryana and Calvin. Then let me also want to care for myself. I want to feel calm!"

Alex sighed, looking hatefully at Elsa who always linked their rift with Bryan and Calvin. "Elsa, don't use them as an excuse. You are deliberately avoiding me, you are being impudent. Or could it be… During the time I was held captive for up to three months, you often came home early like this, abandoning our child?"
