A startled cry snapped the three back to reality. Su Junxin coughed softly to divert her attention, while K sternly set down Shao Hanchen.

Caught off guard, Shao Hanchen fell flat on his bottom. After wincing in pain for a few moments, he saw the giant python's tail sweeping towards him and hastily scrambled to his feet.

"Catch this, protect her!" A bundle was thrust into his arms and Alyssa stared at him with wide blue eyes in confusion.

With several squeaks of protest, Shao Hanchen bent over to shield her. Under Su Junxin's cover, he scurried away like a frightened mouse from the giant python's attack zone, taking refuge behind a half-broken stone pillar.

Seeing that he was safe, Su Junxin turned her full attention to the giant python. She waited for the right moment and quickly leaped in front of the giant python, her hands moving constantly, launching a wave of attacks.
