"You've never begged me for anything before. I didn't expect that the first time you would, it would be such a cruel request." Jin Chenye's voice was so cold that it was almost emotionless.

He swept the dinner plates off of the table.

The dishes from the plate scattered all over the floor, the food spilling out.

This was something he had painstakingly prepared first thing in the morning for her, just like his own heart's blood, all in vain.

Qin Youxuan, standing next to the table, had hot porridge splashed onto her calf. She merely furrowed her brows without even humming in pain.

She just lowered her gaze, not daring to look at him.

However, Jin Chenye, noticing the small red burn on her calf, regretfully ran a hand through his short hair, storming out with anger.

"I won't agree, and never will!"

Qin Youxuan stood stunned for a few seconds before she turned to watch his retreating figure.
