Bab 102: she deserves better

Brad's POV

I anxiously got out of the car. Being in there with Alice felt like the enclosed space between us was closing up on me to the point of me feeling I am getting suffocated.

I couldn't bear to listen to Alice as she keeps on rambling about April and that fucking, wimp bartender, oblivious to the burning rage consuming me inside as she kept spewing those Jared words.

I shoved my fist into my pockets and stared at the magnificent structure that was swarmed with construction workers working hard to mount up the mall.

A few of them noticed my presence and they stop and sent looks of acknowledgment in my direction.

Heeding to my advice, April bought other buildings surrounding the movie theatre, creating quite a huge space for the biggest mall in the country to be built.

I didn't notice Alice was out of the car till I felt her hand brush over my back making me flinch.
