Bab 90: Reconciled

I wiped away the evidence of the ache drowning my heart before my attention resided on AJ.

"Whoa, I thought I am going to lose half of my teeth tonight " AJ exclaimed emptying his lungs with a long sigh.

Laughter vibrated from my chest.

"Don't make fun of me, buttercup. When an average guy like me hears the almighty Brad Smith is at my doorstep do you know how frightening that is?" His eyes doubled, and his fright still lingers on his face.

He expels another breath of relief.

I couldn't control the peal of laughter that keeps bursting out.

I felt a familiar sensation of thrilling joy crinkling through me.

I really miss this dude. I hugged him again, drinking in the happiness this embrace is filling the hole that plummeted in my heart due to his absence in my life.

"I'm sorry," We both said at the same time.
