Han Yichen's wound looked horrifying. The sharp edge had cut a long gash in his palm. Luckily it was not very deep.

Zhao Youlin helped him stop the bleeding and bandaged his hand simply. And it was nothing serious.

The crowd heaved a sigh of relief. They huddled around Han Yichen and asked if he was feeling okay, completely unaware that Zhao Youlin had wrapped a ball of cotton stained with Han Yichen's blood in plastic wrap and had stuffed it into her pocket.

The next day, Han Yichen disappeared from the pastry store, just as he had said.

At first, An Qi and the others thought he was just late. But then, they realized something was wrong, they called him several times, but they could not get through.
