Bab 486: Longing for her

A month without his beloved felt like an eternity for Malik. The man who used to enjoy his company hated it now. Everything around him made his heart ache in longing for his lover. 

Such a spell was cast on his heart by an innocent pure soul. Sorcery that he warmly accepted and welcomed into his life. 

After waking up, he slowly integrated his mind back into his daily duties. With everyone helping out, he hardly had anything to do. 

Once again, his beloved proved that he didn't need to carry all the baggage alone. He got more time to spend with his babies. 

Since he could wake them up, he would do so occasionally. Their giggles and cries filled in the void left behind by their mother's absence. 

Some days, they would search around for her as well. He saw the longing in their eyes for their mother. On such days, he felt crushed and guilty for what was to come.
