Bab 485: His Acceptance

He woke up, his body feeling the right temperature of cool air. His body felt relaxed and his mind clearer. 

Malik, kept his eyes closed for a while, savoring the new feeling he couldn't put a name to. It felt as though someone had put in a lot of effort to keep him comfortable. 

When that thought settled in his mind, his eyes snapped open. He felt strange at first feeling light weights in his arms. He looked from one side to another shocked at the sight of them.

Then, he broke out into a breathtaking smile. Malik momentarily forgot whatever he had on his mind and sat up. He carefully lifted his children and watched their little faces. 

At first, he didn't notice anything different about them. Just then, it occurred to him that the children's sleep wasn't natural. It was induced.

This he could see from the essence that floated around each child feeding them silently. The essence also played a role in keeping them comfortable.
