Bab 483: A miraculous defeat

Chaos erupted within the castle walls early in the morning. The guards were up and running around. No one could explain how they all ended up sleeping. 

As for their Lord, he had yet to show his face to them. That wasn't the main reason for their current state. 

Their home was surrounded by the enemy in larger numbers than before. As they stood on the frontline ready to fight, fear gripped their hearts. 

The shadow guards tried to summon their master to no avail. Malik was oblivious to the things happening around him. 

For the first time in months, the Lord was put to slumber by someone else. Maimuna intended to help him recover all the essence he lost and rejuvenate for their final battle. 

She had also foreseen this attack coming. Now that the rebels knew how to injure the man who was once untouchable, she was greedy and in a hurry to take over.
