Bab 406: Epoch

The sound of crickets filled the air followed swiftly by the cracking flame. Sitting on either side of the fire, the two maintained the silence that kept stretching on every minute. 

Yasmin's gaze was glued to the floor, her body rigid in anxiety. After cleaning up and having a hearty meal, she told their tale without leaving any stone unturned. 

The good, the bad and the ugly side of their past. Yes, she considered everything their past. Now that they were in the middle of nowhere her first instinct was to survive. 

It didn't make the shame any less than she had felt before. Her redeeming point was the growth that came with acknowledging her shortcomings. 

It was something to be proud of. Then why was she anxious? Simple. It was because she didn't know how he would take the revelation. 

Before losing his memory, it took him years to let her stay close to him. After losing his memory, will they go back to how they used to be?
