Bab 365: First Step

The two most powerful men within the realm sobbed in each other's embrace. It was an extraordinary occurrence for they were known for being iron men. 

One never cried or begged during his worst time. The other never fought back or retorted when the entire realm made fun of him. 

Cowardly, some may say but it was nothing more than wisdom. He wasn't affected by their words. 

Rather, it was those unsaid words and hatred he would see in his little brother's gaze that made him miserable.

They say every man has a weakness. While Samira was Lahan's weakness, it was his little Lahan that would arouse the anxiety in his heart.

The same little boy who he once cradled in his arm with his blood soaking his being. It was a sight he could never forget. 

Even as Lahan's tears soaked his shirt now, those were the memories replaying in his mind. "I am sorry, little brother. I couldn't save you in time. So sorry."
