Samir watched the three unconscious figures. He couldn't tell the time of the day, nor the number of days that had gone by.

It was simply blurry. His mind was heavy with worry and longing. The prince felt torn for the first time. He was worried about his sister and yearned for his lover.

The only comfort he had was the mental link he shared with Rumeysa and Samira's breathing form.

Within this period of confusion and longing, he managed to finally accept some things.

His gaze drifted from his sister to the man whose arms were wrapped protectively around her form. He couldn't pinpoint how he felt about Lahan yet.

From the moment the archangel walked through their door, he had been silently guarding against him. Not because he had something against him.

Rather, because he cared. He felt afraid for his sister. A trial, they have been warned about. He was uncertain in what form it shall appear.
