Bab 300: Trust

" What was that about, angel?" He asked the second the door closed behind them. She didn't say a word as she dragged her body towards the bed.

She plopped her entire frame on it without a care, eyes closed and body finally relaxing. She was exhausted physically and felt drained. 

The last thing she needed was an argument. Arif was on the verge of yelling but didn't. He went towards the bed and laid beside her.

" Tell me what's wrong? something isn't right with you. Talk to me, babe." She peeled her gaze open and looked at him.

"Your mother and the man with her are up to no good. Her presence here means trouble. I just rattle her a little to reduce you some trouble. Give it a few hours. You will understand better then."

He wanted to say something but ended up swallowing his words. He had a hard time understanding this new version of her.
