Bab 281: His Sacrifice

Ever felt like you were stuck? Willing to embrace the darkness wholeheartedly because you feel ashamed to face those that matter.

Caring wasn't a problem. Neither was falling in love. However, it becomes an issue when you fail to see what matters. 

Losing those who hold you, dear, because of your selfishness was even worse. Samia felt like that. She had been conscious for a while now but for the life of her, she couldn't open her eyes.

She wasn't ready to face the worried faces and reprimanding eyes. She was certain that she was home. The warmth surrounding her was familiar and so were the scents drifting in her nose.

Sadly, she felt frozen and cold inside. Three times in one day, she was at death's door. She wasn't even surprised that the person she thought of to rescue her was her brother.

Her steady breathing gradually increased as the subtle sound of footsteps got closer. She tried to hold her breath so that the person would let her be.
