Bab 253: Blood Ties

Jibril woke up in the middle of the night breathing hard. He had another nightmare again! As he looked around the room, he sighed heavily before getting out of bed.

The man walked out of the room making as little noise as possible. However, it was no use because the only other person in the house was already awake.

He found that out not long after he walked into the living room. Samia sat on the couch with a sheet wrapped around her.

She looked absorbed in whatever she was thinking about, failing to notice her brother. Jibril watched her from a distance for a while.

His sister has changed since the event that day. There was no sign of mischievous behaviour from her, something he greatly missed.

The now acting ruler sat beside her and pulled her into his embrace. Only then did she show some signs of being defensive.
