Bab 246: Confession

Lily watched Lahan as he in turn watched Samira. She couldn't believe how fate worked. Of all the people he could have fallen for, it just happened to be her other cousin.

Not wanting to invade their privacy, she turned her head away and went back inside the pouch to sleep. She wasn't ready to watch a couple getting all cozy. She didn't like subjecting herself to such a thing.

Lahan didn't know that the two were related. Lily didn't tell him either. She didn't want things to get complicated for them just yet.

Since it was inevitable, she would let fate take its course without interfering. An oblivious Samira smiled down at the wreath in her hands.

She was trying to make a wreath for the man beside her. Since he would let her do whatever she wanted, she thought it would be fun to make him a crown.

The hybrid watched on in awe. He couldn't help but wish for the strength to come clean. He wished for a day when there won't be any secrets between them.
