The door widely opened and the footsteps from her heels echoed towards the desk. The man sitting in front of his laptop paused and looked up. 

"Are you really okay with this?" Rouxi placed the tablet in front of Chen Zixuan's eyes containing the article about their engagement. She pulled the seat and sat across from the man.

Chen Zixuan didn't budge. He just shot a quick glance at the tablet screen. "What's with you? We all both know that it's fake." he replied. He continued typing while adjusting his eyeglasses. His eyebrows crook up. It was not the time to put attention to that fake announcement.

"What's with you these days?" Lin Rouxi was always cheerful and cunning. However, right now, her mood was serious. She wasn't used to seeing the man like this. She had already caught up that something was wrong.
