Bab 94: Thought She Was Really Going to Leave

Freya felt this was the worst moment in her life.

Since she was in a villa district, the wind could get really strong at night. Each time the wind gusted past her, the woman trembled.

There was heating in the villa, so it was worlds apart out here and simply freezing.

Freya had been outside for some time now. Even though she was very angry and stubborn, she had calmed down by now.

She sighed.

She should have taken the money from Gideon. Why did she refuse it?

If she had some cash, she could take the subway to Ashley's place or pay her phone bill.

The woman shrank her neck and went back to the villa.

A few sycamores were planted outside the villa and they were swaying in the freezing wind.

After Freya got to the door, she leaned against it and squatted down.

Freya was already freezing cold after squatting there for roughly ten minutes. She was so cold that her lips were purple and she could not stop shivering.
