Gideon raised his hand and pushed her aside. He walked over to the couch and sat down.

Freya turned around and looked in the man's direction. "That was rude."

The moment she finished her sentence, the man put out his half-smoked cigarette in the ashtray deftly. He smiled and said, "You have no right to demand that I be nice."

Freya was very angry and upset.

Freya was angry since there was nothing she could do about the man's behavior. She could only keep letting him get away with deriding her.

She was upset that the man forced her to return the bracelet when it meant a lot to her.

Freya gritted her teeth and turned around.

"Stop right there." The atmosphere felt intense as the man suddenly spoke domineeringly.

Freya halted in her steps instantly.

She turned to look at Gideon. "What do you want?"

"Come here."

The two words left Freya startled.

What did he want from her?
