Kieran was straightening the cutlery, when his hands suddenly froze after hearing Freya's question.

He raised his head to look at Freya with a smile on his thin lips. "Ms. Taylor, do you mean this is not your first time?"

Freya went quiet.

She smiled mildly. "Mr. Anderson, I was the one asking questions. Why did you answer a question with a question?"

"My bad. It simply struck me when you asked. As for me, this is my first time going for a matchmaking session, so I am quite inexperienced."

Freya kept turning her index fingers nervously under the table.

Was the man implying that she was very experienced at going for matchmaking sessions?

Ashley was the top socialite in Ocean City. How could she have asked a question that would bite back at her?

Freya could not help glancing behind herself furiously.

The waiter came over with the food. After serving everything, he told them to enjoy their meal and left.
