Bab 15: Won’t Ever Do It

Freya lowered her head. All her life, she was in deep gratitude towards her adopted father, Noah Keller. Even if she had to marry Gideon to help her adopted father, she felt it was worth it.

Although it was a rocky marriage, and her husband had a lousy attitude towards her, she held no grudges.

Freya pondered briefly before she said calmly, "I understand. You just focus on watching your health. Don't worry about me."

"Sigh. Why didn't your father come with you this time?"

"He… he's caught up with work. He was unable to take leave, so he sent me over to visit you."

The old lady sighed dejectedly. "I see."
