Alessandro's POV

I drive us beyond the business centres at the beginning of Alonsos' estate. I take us deeper into the city. 

All this time, Isabella has been sneaking glances at me. I can tell that she's confused. Especially because I refused to help her earlier today. 

I drive until we get to an area with no cameras but an ice cream stand and a few other petty restaurants. A place that is unlikely for any of the mafia families to come to. 

Still, there are a few that recognize me and stay far away from us. 

I buy us a small tub of ice cream each. 

I've been craving something sweet all day. 

Isabella is still that giddy little girl. She was so excited to see me back then just like she's excited about her ice cream. She's too childish.
