Bab 121: The Gossip Women

After talking on the phone for a minute, Chu Shenshu got up from the sofa, then walked towards Chu Xinian. He looked at his younger sister with concern, saying, "I didn't know that our parents set you up with Gu Yuwang. Tell me, if you dislike him, I'll talk to our parents to cancel your marriage."

"Our parents didn't tell you?" Chu Xinian asked in surprise.

"Yeah." Chu Shenshu replied, "If it wasn't for you to tell me, I might never know." He grinned, then said, "But, maybe they want to surprise me."

Paused for a moment, Chu Shenshu asked all of a sudden, "Do you mind the decision?"

Hearing Chu Shenshu said that with an intense look, Chu Xinian felt a little strange. It wasn't usually his eldest brother to show such concern.

However, Chu Xinian thought that it was a good change from her eldest brother, so she also responded in kind, "Um, but that's fine though. You said Gu Yuwang is a good man, then our marriage wouldn't be a problem."
