Though it was early summer, G City had just experienced a bout of rain. The two walked under the setting sun, feeling comfortable rather than hot. A faint floral scent carried along by the breeze brushed past their ears.

The air was fresh due to the recent rainfall. Wen Ran's petite hand was engulfed by the man's wide palm. She followed his stride, proceeding forward. Although they were on an unfamiliar street, her heart felt at ease.

She tilted her head up slightly to look at him, while he turned his head sideways, his gaze was fixed on her.

"Mo Xiuchen, where's your company?"

Wen Ran looked around, noticing several companies in the vicinity.

"Over there."

Mo Xiuchen pointed to the right at a skyscraper. Hao Chen's office was located on the twenty-eighth floor.
