After hanging up the phone, Wen Ran's mood plummeted to rock bottom. Thinking about her deceased parents, and her brother lying unconscious in the hospital, a deep sadness swelled in her heart.

Just as she was drowned in grief, the office door suddenly swung open, and Bai Xiaoxiao's voice came from the entrance, "Ranran, quickly pack up. Come with me for a blind date at noon, uh, what happened to you?"

Bai Xiaoxiao strode over to the desk, staring at Wen Ran's tear-filled eyes, a look of concern immediately rose on her face.

Wen Ran suppressed her sadness, shook her head, and said nonchalantly, "Nothing, what blind date are you talking about?"
