Of course, in order to get The Osiris Machine, we needed a plan.

“OK. OK. Where’s Bubbles keeping the 14 Pieces?” asked Xander.

“Inside her evil circus tent,” I answered. “The toy workshop ride,” I elaborated upon seeing his confused look.

“So we need to find a way in without being seen,” reasoned my mentor.

“Problem is, that’s where most of her evil undead clowns are hanging out, as well as Cecil’s Morticians. We need a way to draw them all out of there.”

“Like a distraction.”

“Right. Exactly. A distraction.”

Suddenly, the doors of the toy workshop building were thrown open and a couple dozen grumpy clowns and emotionless Morticians poured out into the park proper.

“A distraction such as, for example, scouring Santa’s Village for an escaped prisoner?” asked Xander.

“Yeah. That would probably do it,” I agreed.
