Bab 50: Chapter 50: Gary Does Fetish and I Get Heartbroken

Gary was waiting for me in his garage. I ducked under the open door and out of the sun.

“Yo,” I announced.

“Dude! Where have you been?”

“South America,” I answered. “Long story.”

“Cool.” That’s what’s so awesome about being a guy, not having to explain yourself to your guy friends when you don’t feel like it. Lord knows if Gary were a girl he’d’ve been all over me with questions and accusations just like Ronnie. But instead of digging into my issues, he was more than happy to switch the conversation onto something he was more comfortable with - building stuff. He proudly held up a bizarre black leather contraption that looked like something out of The Inquisition. “Sweet, huh?”

“Yikes,” I said. “Fetish much?”
