Bab 1141: Afraid of Comparison

Suddenly, Alyssa's phone rang. She received a text message.

She took her phone out to take a look at it and decided not to continue bothering with Lucas here. Instead, she pulled Leila's other arm and said, "Leila, let's ignore him. Mr. Dunne just texted me to say that he's already booked a private room in the Hampton Restaurant. Let's head over now in my boyfriend's car!"

Bethany chimed in, "Since Mr. Dunne has already made reservations, we'd better not keep him waiting and get going now!"

Leila sulked and pretended to be angry. "Why are you guys behaving like that? If you don't want my boyfriend to join us, I won't go either. You go ahead!"

With that, she hugged Lucas's arm and said in an angry voice, "Lucas, since they don't welcome us, let's go have dinner on our own! You said you'd take me to that famous crab burger restaurant the other day. Let's go now!"
