The sound of the trumpets announcing the arrival of a pack interrupted their conversation, they both got up and went out to receive whoever had arrived without knowing that the two remaining packs were waiting together at the entrance.
Orsen paled at the sight of the Dahlia pack's carriages there, his heart was not ready yet to meet with the cursed omega.
Although now his thoughts were more confused thanks to what Killian had told him and maybe the words of the alpha slightly changed the mental image he had for Terrence and gave him an impression that the boy was a good person after all.
Killian let Orsen receive the main family of the Spear pack while he went with Dahlia's pack, Orsen was grateful to his disciple for that action; however, to his surprise, the only people who got out of the carriage had been the leader Caius and his son Erick.
From the second carriage came the family of the second leader's deceased wife, his sister, and his parents but there was no one else. Orsen wondered where was that boy feared by all?
The sunset was coming to an end and the moon was beginning to shine on top, therefore Orsen and Killian looked at each other before deciding to start the tournament, they imagined that perhaps the young master Terrence would not go to the event although they were no sure more thanks to all the expression of the leader Caius who did not stop looking around hoping to see something or someone.
"Well, it seems that no one else is missing so let's start the tournament"

The chat between Daemon and Rasha, Blausen's mom, took a long time, she was trying to find out why he and Blausen hated each other if they had gotten along very well initially when they met.
"So...?"
"Ah… I don't know Mom, maybe he just annoys me with his face" Daemon joked, shrugging his shoulders.
"Ahh... I understand that you don't want to tell me the reason but don't keep it in your heart forever"
"Mm... I understand"
The beautiful red-haired woman hugged Daemon leaving a kiss on his forehead with kindness, she knew very well that there was something that Daemon doesn't want to tell her but she give him the time to do it slowly, after that hug she started the most important talk, which was about his marriage, she wanted to know if there was someone in his adoptive son's heart or if he had an omega he would like to dedicate his victory of the tournament.
Daemon deny with a bored face, he didn't have anyone in particular, he had always focused so much on uniting his pack after the death of his parents that he hadn't paid attention to his surroundings, much less to any Omega.
The hall fell silent as the remaining packs came into the backyard. Orsen entered first with the leader of Spear, a tall man with a coal-brown skin, a toned but not exaggerated body, black hair, and emerald green eyes, Evan, a very attractive alpha who even though he was ten years older than Daemon and Blausen, he looks younger than them.
The leader came with his partner, a beautiful Omega that looked like the moon, his skin, hair, eyelashes, eyebrows... everything was almost as white as the moon, he was the leader of the Raum's pack which one merged into one with Spear when they got married.
Of course, they did not waste time because they already had three children, the eldest was a young boy of 9 years, followed by the little girl of 6 years, and finally the last boy, a one-year-old baby.
Daemon and Blausen approached Evan and his family to greet him, a long time ago Evan was their teacher and they considered him also like a brother to them.
After that greeting, all went to sit at their respective table to talk a little bit but the silence took place at all the tables when Killian entered with the Dahlia pack.
All breathed deeply hoping to see the infamous cursed omega, the horrible and ugly, Terrence... but instead of that, they only marveled at Erick's beauty, including Blausen and Daemon, who were astonished by the boy's elegance and features although Daemon felt slightly strange.
Blausen noticed that Daemon was looking at the young Erick and of course, he would never miss an opportunity to hurt him and annoy his rival.
"Don't even dream of it Dae, that boy will be my omega"
"Are you challenging me, carrot?"
Rasha sighed exhausted when she saw that they were fighting again, she got up in silence to go to her husband hoping that he had been luckier than her finding out something useful from Blausen.
Caius led his son and his family to their table but his gaze was lost elsewhere looking for his first son. Terrence couldn't miss that event, although the tournament was where an alpha made a formal marriage proposal and the omega could accept or refuse, Caius had already accepted a marriage for Terrence with a prominent alpha, so although Terrence didn't want to accept he could not have any options.
"Well, it seems that no one else is missing so let's start with the rules of the tournament"
Everyone heard Orsen's voice so they turned to the small platform where the young man was climbing, the musicians who had been chosen to play that night began with a soft melody while Orsen was giving them information about why they had changed all the event.
Everyone was paying attention to the young boy when the sound of a carriage arriving at full speed was heard, the music stopped abruptly making everyone look at the carriage with amazement because it was getting as close as it could to the place where all the tables were.
The vehicle did not have any family crest, it was just a white carriage with black curtains but it was obvious who it was, there was only one person who had not yet arrived at that event and it was him.
Terrence, the cursed omega…
Erick felt goosebumps upon seeing the carriage, and he looked truly terrified at his father, Blausen and Daemon saw the fear of the young Dahlia prince before looking at each other.
"I bet he's scary because he's so ugly." Blausen joked a bit because no one had seen Terrence's appearance in those ten years.
"Don't be disrespectful, sometimes things are not what they seem to be"
"No way, is the great Daemon defending the damn cursed murderer?"
Daemon just clicked his tongue crossing his arms, although he couldn't stand criminal people, it still hadn't been proven that the boy had murdered his stepmother.

TERRENCE
"Wow, look, young master, we arrive... the Reinheit kingdom is amazing"
When Leva says those words I feel really bad, my stomach aches more than before and I knew the reason.
"Alright, pass me the cape"
"What? Are you going to wear that thing? No way! You look so beautiful"
I smiled at her, she was the only person that could say I'm beautiful, but even though her words always give me the strength to face anything I know extremely well that I was a monster in other eyes.
"Leva… you know very well that I don't want to show my face"
Leva swallowed hard because she hadn't told him that she had covered the mark on his face. Without any good reason to go against him, she helped Terrence to accommodate the cloak on his shoulders.
The young woman always wished that at some point her master Terrence would stop feeling ugly and realize what a great person as well as how beautiful he was.
...
The first person to come out from the carriage was Leva who stretched her body a bit before helping Terrence out of the carriage, he took the woman's hand with one of his hands to be able to leave the carriage and puts his feet on the ground with a certain elegance.
"What a trap…" Blausen complained because Terrence wore a cape with a hat that covered his face completely...
Daemon couldn't be more pleased to see his friend's disappointment thanks to him, but there was something about that mysterious boy that seemed interesting to him.
TERRENCE
When I got out of the carriage, I took a deep breath, recognizing various aromas everywhere, my mind guide me to the only place that had no other wolf's aroma, but the same smell of pinewood, at that moment I was sure about something... that was the table they had prepared for me, of course, no one could be so crazy enough to sit with the cursed omega.
"Pathetic..." I mumbled to myself
"Terrence, how rude, do you know what time it is?"
Caius shouted at me and got up from his seat, however, I didn't respond to my father's words.
Twelve years have already passed and the first thing I heard from him is his angry voice scolding me.
"Leva, bring me the documents" he ordered softly so that only the girl would hear.
With the help of my cane, I walked following the aroma of the empty table, dodging objects until I finally arrived, all were amazed that the boy who was supposed to be blind could walk with no problem I heard very well their whispers but obviously, they could never understand how I have to learn to live without my eyes.
I groped one of the chairs and in a single movement of my hand, I brought the cloak behind me to sit down and not wrinkle it.
All the people around me were unfamiliar but I couldn't care more because I will never see them again.

Caius was furious, being ignored by his eldest son was not a pleasant thing and with a frown, he approached Terrence at the same time that Leva arrived with an envelope.
"Are you deaf now too, Terrence?" Caius split those words with anger
"Why should I listen to you, sir?" answers Terrence with a soft tone.
"Why? Because I'm your father!"
Everyone watched that scene in silence, all feel very uncomfortable and of course, no one would dare to meddle in their fight.
There was a large silence until Terrence's scandalous laugh surprised all the guests because they did not understand what was so funny.
"My father, you say?" Terrence answer him with sarcasm
"…"
"Let me tell you something, sir"
Terrence got up from his seat, reaching out his hand to where he could smell Leva's aroma waiting for her to give him the envelope.
"Just as you abandoned me for twelve years without listening to me, accusing me of killing the only WOMAN I knew as my MOTHER... so today I present my letter of resignation to your PATHETIC pack as to your PATHETIC last name that is of no use to me"
Terrence began to raise his voice when he spoke of his mother but he calmed down and stamped the envelope on his father's chest and despite the furious look on Caius's face, the adult couldn't do anything, with so many eyes on them and the boy's resignation he couldn't forcefully marry him off as he planned.
"You're going to regret this…"
"I regret not having done it sooner"
Terrence shows his back to his father, feeling so good with what happened, he was there just to do that even though he was going to do at the end of the event and more privately but since his father had made things easy for him he had nothing else to do. He was ready to go to his carriage when someone approached them.
"It's a pleasure to have you here young master Terrence"
Killian was the only brave to talk to the boy and ends that tense atmosphere, when Terrence hear him, he recognized his voice immediately and his cold tone changed to a more relaxed one.
"Killian… I didn't expect that you'll be here"
"Well, I'm a student of Orsen here" Killian laughed nervously
"oh yes, you mentioned that before...." Terrence smiled remembering who Orsen was.
"The tournament is about to start and I have your favorite dessert in the kitchen, Do you want to eat some of it?" the alpha joked a little
He didn't really know what his favorite dessert was but Killian wants him to stay and that everyone could see the Terrence he knew and that he wasn't the bad boy all imagined.
"… okay, I can stay for a while"
Caius saw his son and reluctantly took the envelope and returned to his table with a frown on his eyebrows and the courage stuck in his throat.
Terrence sat down at the table again letting out an exhausting sigh, he wanted to leave as soon as possible but thanks to Killian he couldn't do it.
Killian took the coachman to the stable to let rest the horses there, he looked at Orsen and smiled a little at him hoping he would trust his judgment.
Orsen, despite the slight fear in his body, trusted Killian more than anyone else so he calm down his nerves and accept the presence of the boy.
"Well, without further delay the tournament is going to start... for this year it has been divided into three stages, for years the tournament was just a way for alphas or betas to propose marriage to an omega or beta of their interest. But this year we want to give the youngsters a chance to show their skills."
"Their skills?" Daemon was slightly confused
At that moment Rasha, Caius, and Evan approached the platform.
"Yes that's right, in this tournament even the omega could participate and they will be the judges of each duel because... there is still no heir to the throne of Reinheit and according to the will of the last king, if the lost heir does not appear after 16 years... someone with a pure heart can claim the throne."
Everyone present was surprised, the knowledge that they had a chance to rule the most important kingdom that ever existed motivated them to participate even more.
"So who's ready to fight?"
