Bab 58: Few Months Later Taking on the Divine Sword Family Part 1
Liang Yu was heading with Xia Yuning towards the Auction House. After hearing about what happened between the Dark Moon Family, Liang Yu really, and the Azure Feather Family, really just Ye Xinghe and Shangguan, she felt restless.

Liang Yu was ready to search the marketplace for anything beneficial. But the Auction should have something worth a damn at least. Some herbs and a few metals to use.
"He is the Guardian of the Dark moon Family, Liang Yu." Xia Yuning said to the others. "He is.. also a friend of mine." Remembering the conversation she had with Liang Yu about the members of the Princesses entourage, who were planning to make a move on her, she wanted to get some alone time to ask a few questions to her old friend. 'I can not go just based on what he said. He might still be trying to create conflict in places. Having an entire empire attack will only make matters worse for my father.'
"Sup." Liang Yu was not that interested in them really. His Astral Sense picking up a few outside that were causing him to have a headache. The blasted Envoys of the Emperor were in the city! "Hmm, members of the rebels are not to far away. Where is a guard when you need one."
*Fwish!* Writing a quick letter up, he sent it off covered in flames towards the nearest patrol unit.
"So young." Princess Hongye could feel the power surrounding Liang Yu. "To reach the 9th Heavenly Realm at such an age.. well how old are you anyway?" The others could not hear her but Liang Yu heard it clear as day with it being directed towards him.
"Not your concern." Looking towards Xia Yuning, he was ready to go in. "Quite busy, excuse me."
"Don't be rude." Xia Yuning grabbed his sleeve. Receiving quite an irritated look from him. She wished Ye Yue was around. She found Liang Yu was more relaxed with her around. 'He said she went to acquire founds. But from where?'
Ye Yue was given the items and told what to do to acquire money from the vault Shangguan had. The token was the Tianyuan that accessed a vault for the Merchant Guild's most important customers.
She tried to rob Liang Yu of his life, so it was only fair he robs her of everything possible. For those who tried to get one up over Ye Yue, well they wouldn't live long to regret it. The presence of an Alpha Demon Beast exuded from her greatly.
With a cultivation constantly on the rise, she would not run into much trouble unless she was foolish.

"Our people risked their lives to obtain this from the Land of The Fallen. The Profound Star Stone Necklace." The auctioneer announced. Liang Yu was interested in the item and a few others but his chest started to hurt something fierce. After the one bid by him, others started to bid fiercely.
"Ughh!" Closing his eyes and meditating, Liang Yu tried to figure what was wrong. But he couldn't spot anything in his soul. "My Internal Space is fine. The Garden there is fine. The Flame Vortex Core is fine. Wait.. the hell it is!"
*Fwoosh!* The Flame Vortex was not fine at all actually, with powerful rich flames constantly being produced. It kept expanding more and more by the second. The rich flames started bathing the three Dantians down below.
Almost causing a somewhat hammering process of its own. Refining the three for something more but out of his control.
A sense of urgency was mixed inside the flames.
The Dantians were then emptied of the qi inside them, that same qi then floated into the Flame Vortex Core causing it to grow then produce richer flames that then repeated the process.
A quick calculation revealed this would not be good. Especially if not stopped. Willing the vortex to stop had no results.
"Is this because the Flame Vortex Core wants to break through?" Liang Yu felt this was the only case. But he was not ready to do so and this was the wrong time. After all, it never broke through with the others at a lower level. So that seemed off. "I can't stop it and I can not risk the danger. Need to try something drastic!"
The herbs and other plants in his garden were tossed into the Flame Vortex Core. Not even remotely close to maturity. The body of the plants were taken away leaving only the seeds that absorbed the rich qi.
The plants rapidly mature then exploded. The body of the plants mixed into a reoccurring pattern. This gave him a small respite.
The first set of auction items very delivered and "stored" away. But in actuality, Liang Yu tossed them into the Flame Vortex Core to obtain the qi inside.
Ye Yue had returned and was purchasing anything she thought could help. The items in the vault were passed over to him as well. Nothing really checked over just tossed inside to reduce the pain.
Each item brought over only gave a little respite. Princess Hongye and Xia Yuning had no idea why he bought so much. Even low-grade equipment that would not do a thing for him. It was a good thing the funds he carried were for spending only.
"The auction is over princess." Pan Yang said bitterly. He did not really purchase anything from the auction after seeing the spending spree Liang Yu did. Seeing the sickly-looking Liang Yu get up with Xia Yuning following was not something he would let slide. "Hold it you three!"
They did not stop of course.
"They created such a problem princess, we can't let them leave!" Pan Yang said fearfully. A coward yes but a fool, no. "With so many items purchase for our booth, there is no way the forces that hide in the dark won't try to attack us! I mean you!"
"I agree with what young master Pan is saying. If we let them leave now, we will be in grave danger!" An word didn't matter since Liang Yu and Xia Yuning had already left. "Princess you must do something!"
Yun Yinfei said nothing but he was of the same mind as the two.
"Do not order me about like you would your own people." Princess Hongye raised her hand for them to be silent. Dealing with them took longer than usual. 'Is what that letter said correct? And then Yuning was very worried about them as well. Hmm, need to ask her about the Thunder Family some more to. I will use that as an excuse to pursue them.'

Members of the Divine Sword Family were frustrated. Not only did most of the items get purchased by the booth Liang Yu was in, they were also upset that Princess Hongye and Xia Yuning purchased a few of the items by the looks of it.
A woman with light red hair and very seductive clothing turned to an ominous man sitting in a chair. The man was an envoy of the "Emperor" checking on matters. The woman was Ming Yu. A woman forced into a very "odd" position within the group since young.
"Princess Hongye isn't satisfied with just some of the items. They purchased almost everything available. Besides a few Cultivation Techniques." Ming Yu looked at the envoy with a side glance. Doing her best to not agitate the already annoyed expert. "She's just the princess from the Xiwu Empire, how does she have such wealth to spend?"
"Hmph!" The Envoy crossed his legs with his hands tapping the top of the knee. "The North Guardian Lord and the Xiwu Empire already have a history with one another. Not to mention Liang Yu of the Dark Moon Family is rumored to be in the city. Our spies say he got into a fight with the former North Lord. Perfect chance to eliminate the two of them if true."
"Milord Envoy, is that really a wise move?" Ming Yu questioned. It was dangerous. To take out Liang Yu would bring the wrath of the Dark Moon Family down on those involved. The "Rebels" have already started to focus on the Empire and the Feudal Lords all together if the Empire makes an enemy.."
"Who are you to question me?" The Envoys eyes glowered with power. Mingye immediately apologized and looked down. "The Dark Moon Family is not even a Great House. The few experts they have is nothing to worry about."
Like most of the other Envoys, the man believed in his strength and that of the "Emperor" they serve.
"The Dark Moon Family may have taken out Rebels of that Faction Group, but they also do not send forces to aid as ordered. Giving the reason of protecting their territory from the Feudal Lords, Bandits, and the like that have gathered up in arms." His voice came out slightly angry. It was a decent excuse that several other groups used as well. "Not to mention they may be involved in attacking another Great House Family and slighting the Imperial Army that requested to enter their compound."
"As long as they travel with the princess of the Xiwu Empire, the matter will not remain simple." Ling Yu mumbled. He thought he did low enough none heard him. The envoy stared at the young man. "My apologies! I misspoke!" Bowing his head in fear, the former overproud disciple of the Divine Sword Family tightly shut his mouth.
"The Xiwu Empire is not a cause for concern. Another of the members with Envoy spoke."
"She is the princess of the Xiwu Empire after all!" Mingye was not about to remain quiet when these pompous fools were about to get her killed. THe desire generally broke through one's overwhelming fear. "If she dies in our borders or anywhere in the Zhou Empire, that will not bode well for us all!"
"With the various nobility and royalty from several countries gathered in the city for the auction and the different Feudal Lord making moves, conflict is defintely happening out of the control of the guards." The Envoy said without any regard for her protest. "Even if there is no conflict in the city, there is always a chance outside it's walls."
Mingye bit her lip in frustration. She did not anything else after realizing they did not care about the repercussions still. The thought of fleeing was starting to grow stronger in her mind.
"With Hongye and her group purchasing so many items, it's reasonable enough that they will be a target immediately upon leaving. The Xiwu Empire has plenty of enemies wanting to take advantage of any situation, who can ultimately be sure they were not the ones who killed the princess and her entourage?"
"Brilliant Lord Envoy." Ming Yu forced out. Departing the room, she was suprised when a servant came over-delivering something to her. Ignoring her status altogether. "Who sent this?"
"My Master did. You are someone worth helping he said. Do be careful of the coming danger the envoy places you in." The servant then vanished on the spot. Making all of them wonder if the servant was ever even there. "May your eyes open to the truth."
*Bzzt!* A small blue lighting entered the body of Ming Yu. Traveling gently throughout healing her internal shadow wounds.

Liang Yu was still having trouble with his Flame Vortex Core. But the perfect opportunity was about to present itself to give him relief. Well to cause his Dantians to stop causing an issue. He rode in the carriage with Hongye and Xia Yuning.
Ye Yue had settled back into his Internal Space. Trying her best to help ease the suffering inside. The Internal Space was the only thing capable of not getting sucked in.
Every few minutes, she would toss something into the Flame Vortex Core. Whether it was tress ot big chunks of rock didn't matter. AS long as something was inside, the refining process slowed down.
Astral Sense picking up several people trying to ambush the carriage.
"Stay inside if you don't want to see a bunch of people dying." Right as the carriage stopped, Liang Yu exited the cart flinging Flame Darts out at the same time. "Defend yourself you fools!" He shouted to the guards of the princess.
*Schup!* A few more assassins appeared. Further out than the two who landed right in front of the carriage. The idea of running them over by the horse didn't even cross the mind of the drivers.
"Tch!" One snorted in distaste thinking this would be easy to eliminate any threat to the plan. "We don't mean to cause trouble, we just heard the princess obtained some treasures from the auction. If you hand them over, you can all live."
"Sorry, not sorry!" Liang Yu created lightning lances in each hand. He flung them far out pass the one that talked and over to the farthest ones out that encircled the carriage. "You are better dead than alive!"
"Stop him!" An assassin ordered. "The rest will be easy pickings!"
*Bam!* Liang Yu's fist burst through two assassins who charged at him. The physical might alone destroyed their paltry defenses. With a turn, he delivered strikes to the surrounding blowing away his opponents with force and sound.
The Metal Seed returning information with Astral Sense about those in the area.
The guards started to look a little woozy. They then fell off their horses barely moving a single bit.
"Ughh.. we have been poisoned!" One of the guards said. "Who could have done this!?" A hand touched him on the back as Xia Yuning dropped down to dispel the poison. "You should flee!"
"It's the Bone Corroding Incense!" The other guard shouted. He was already having the problem taken care of by the princess. "Thank you.. thank you, your majesty!"
"To think you would betray me like this, who idea was this Pan Yang?" Princess Hongye was furious but kept it under control. "Clemency can still be offered if you gave a satisfactory answer."
"Humph!" Pan Yang scoffed. "It was both myself and Young Master An. No need to hide it anymore Princess. You two are already ours!"
"What do you fools intend to do?"
"A man who's not ruthless isn't a real.. kuff!" Pan Yang spat out a mouthful of blood. He turned in dread as Liang Yu stood on the back of his horse. The problem was the fist rammed through his chest cavity. "KUuff! kuff! Who do you think.."
*Fwoosh!* Intense flame engulfed the young fool's body as he was burned up. He was then tucked away into the Flame Vortex Core that refined him in seconds.
"This.. this was not supposed to happen like this!" Master An backtracked on his horse. Liang Yu's glowing eyes caused immense fear to run through him. "He should be out of qi already!"
