I walk through the intricately decorated gold and white hallways until I exit.
Olympus is built so that there is one main palace where the throne room is and then multiple smaller ones where the gods and friendly Titans live.
I have to ask around and walk for a long time until I find Metis's dwelling.
It's a large baby-blue and silver palace with intricately engraved columns and spires.
I knock on her door and wait.
"Poseidon! What are you doing here?", Metis asks curiously.
"I'm just here to warn you, you shouldn't marry Zeus", I respond.
"I'm the one who suggested it, marriage with a Titan will allow the relationship between us to heal", she says wisely.
"It's not that he shouldn't marry, just that it shouldn't be you", I say.
"Why", Metis asks.
"Because he is just like Kronos", I respond.
"Zeus is a good god, it will be fine, you worry too much", she says lightly.
"I'm just trying to help you", I sigh.
"It's okay, I be fine", she says exasperatedly.
She closes the door and I turn around and walk away.
I continue walking around for a while to think until I bump into Hecate.
...
"I think I should make a species", I say to Delphin in my throne room, that now looks even more modern than before.
Delphin is in his human form right now.
He has silvery gray hair, baby-blue eyes, and a childish, but handsome face.
"Why?", Delphin asks.
"Well....just because I guess?", I say.
"If you want too, but make sure they have a tail", Delphin says seriously.
"Why?", I say curiously.
"Because their fin-tastic!", He exclaims.
"No, not again", I say while cringing.
"Don't trout yourself", Delphin continues.
"Just stop", I whine.
"No, I'm absolutely krill-iant!", Delphin brags.
"Your puns suck", I say while smiling.
"I plead gill-ty", he responds while smiling.
I smack him on the back of the head lightly and he pouts.
"With a friend like you, who needs anemones?", Delphin spits out before sprinting out of the throne room to avoid my retribution for the pun.
I smile and then start brainstorming on how to create the merfolk.
I don't remember reading any mythology about how any of the gods created those different races so I am at a loss at what to do.
I first try willing them into existence, but it doesn't work and I feel a bit stupid after.
I then try pouring out my divinity like when I use DOMAIN, but while willing merfolk into existence.
That doesn't work either.
"Maybe it will work if I try and make a body first?", I whisper out loud in concentration.
I start molding what I envision male and female merfolk would look like with water.
The male has a handsome face, black hair, brown eyes, a toned swimmers body, and a dark-blue tail.
The female has a pretty face, red hair, greenish-blue eyes, a nice figure, and a green tail.
I changed the color of the water to make them look exactly how I envision. And I made both of them look around their mid-twenties.
After I perfect their appearances, I then start pouring my divinity into the water bodies I made while willing them to come alive.
Their lifespan will be around two hundred years.
Decent fertility.
Naturally really strong and smart.
Decent healing.
Strong resistance to damage.
I chant the characteristics I want them to have in my mind while using my divinity.
Their once water bodies start becoming more and more realistic—more physical.
Soon they truly have bodies that are their own.
"Hello master," The merman says with a baritone voice.
I get a bit startled but then calm down and respond.
"Hello, shall I grant you a name?", I say.
"Yes, please master", the merman responds.
"You don't have to call me master, just your king", I say somewhat awkwardly.
"Very well, my king", the merman says loyally.
"Your name shall be Alexios", I say seriously.
"Thank you, my king", Alexios responds.
"My king," a soft and feminine voice cuts in.
The mermaid had come to life while I was talking to Alexios.
"May I have a name as well?", she continues.
"Yes, your name shall be Hypatia", I say thoughtfully.
"Thank you, my king", she responds gratefully.
I have a water nymph get them set up in a home outside my palace in the city, and then just start going crazy with the creation of merfolk.
I make like one thousand before I stop, but then immediately regret it because I'm going to need to have them all get settled and then figure out how to give them jobs.
The city is a monarchy and my palace is located in the center, along with the residencies of Delphin, Hecate, Oceanus, Amphitrite, and all my other advisors.
Surrounding my palace are markets, restaurants, and other businesses. Most are very similar to their modern counter parts due to my influence.
After those are the residential areas and schools.
Though the schools aren't populated right now due to nymphs and other water spirits being born fully mature.
The houses look almost exactly like modern ones due to my collaboration with the Cyclopes.
Each house varies in size depending on who is inhabiting the house.
Past that is Incursio, a baby water dragon that I found on my travels.
I named him after a dragon in one of the anime's that I once watched that sounds cool.
Incursio has shiny dark-purple scales and a black underbelly.
A black ridged back.
Strong and muscular arms and legs.
Webbed sharp black claws.
Four large curling black horns, a long webbed and spiked tail.
Four red eyes with cross shaped pupils.
And sharp, deadly, white teeth.
He is honestly pretty scary and he is huge.
Even though he is still a baby he is around eighty meters long.
Even in my giant form, I'm only around 60 feet tall.
To feed him, I have to use the sea monsters I hunt for training.
Past that is the magic barrier I asked Hectate to set up once she joined my kingdom five years ago.
The barrier is made up of deep blue and black runes and mystical symbols and turns invisible when not defending against an attack.
It's capable of defending against the full powered assault of Oceanus, Delphin, and I.
And finally, past that is the Cyclopes's forge in the volcano.
It looks similar to a temple and filled with celestial bronze, imperial gold, and all other metals they use to forge.
The forge has its own magic barrier that connects it to Atlantis and allows us to instantly travel to either location.
After going over the general structure of my kingdom I get up and force myself to go and visit every merfolks' new home and figure out how to grant them knowledge on a specific field they can work in using all the knowledge I've amassed over the years.
.....
"Thank you, my king", the last mermaid says.
I nod then start heading home to heal my mental fatigue.
But then a ringing noise suddenly blares in my head.
"What is it Hecate?", I say answering the call from the rune I asked her to teach me make.
"The gods need you for a meeting", she responds flatly.
This past year most of the gods have finally fully turned into their jealous and anger prone counter parts.
They've stopped training completely, but I still train every day.
Metis has failed to heed my warning and has been consumed by Zeus.
R*pe, smitings, and orgies run rampant in Olympus.
Though I try my best to help by allowing the victims and fearful subjects asylum in my kingdom.
Lots of Titans and new gods that fear them have fled to Atlantis once they learned that there are laws and order here.
Based on what I've heard from the new arrivals, the mass migration of their subjects to my kingdom has made the extremely angry and jealous and they have stopped inviting me to a lot of their council meetings.
"Why not", I say then flash to Olympus.
