Bab 99: Chapter 98 : Follow the script !
Eros felt his mouth twitch as Nectar looked excitedly at her pictures in the paper [ She isn't following the script again ] Nectar smiled pleasantly holding up the paper, " You wanted to tell me something, your highness "?
Eros clenched his fists, forcing himself not to yell [ Can't make it worse than it already is ] " We'll be going to Season Castle soon ". Nectar nodded happily, " I hope you have a pleasant time ".
Eros chuckled lightly, " You're coming with me Nectar ". Nectar's smile morphed into a slight frown of anger and shock as she quickly lamented, " Are you sure? I don't think I should be there ".
As they stared at each other, the annoyance at each other's actions obvious as they thought the same thing [ Follow the god damn script!!! ] Eros shook his head, " It's already being decided and we'll be going in three days ". Nectar smiled stiffly [ I don't have much of a choice ] when she suddenly smiled, " Can I bring the kids with me "?
She quickly held up eight fingers, " All of them and the help "? Nectar expected him to refuse but he sighed in defeat and nodded, " Of course, whatever makes you happy ".
Nectar tilted her head to the side, pinching herself to stop herself from cursing out loud when she thought of something, " It would make me glad if Lady Athena was still in charge of the events ". Eros nodded and Nectar racked her brain for anything but nothing came.
" And you can get whatever you want for the journey as well. We leave in three days ", Nectar was helpless to stop the situation as she watched him leave [ Killing him right now won't help anything ]
Nectar groaned in frustration when he finally left. " Sister Empress, you should really calm down ", Nectar forced herself to breathe as she glanced at Reli " I am very calm Reli ".
Reli shook her head, pointing at Nectar's feet which had been frozen over and Nectar frowned slightly, shattering the ice " This is insane ". Reli felt confused, " You don't want to go Sister "? Nectar raised her hands, " Absolutely not, he's supposed to abandon...I mean leave me alone ".
Reli couldn't help but laugh, To be personally invited by the emperor was already an honour in it's own right but Nectar was far from pleased. The more time she spent around her, the more she felt Nectar hated Eros.
Not that she didn't hate him either, he was a jerk but something told her there was something more to Nectar's hatred for him. " You shouldn't frown Qidu ", Nectar turned and glared sharply at Liam, " Shut the hell up ".
Liam only chuckled, " You look like a wrinkled raisin ". Nectar frowned, sending water his way " You're so lucky you're hurt ". Liam only chuckled, drying himself off " That's supposed to be my line ".
Reli looked between the two and stood between them, " How about we go shopping instead "? Nectar looked at her, attention perked " Right now ". Reli nodded, " His majesty did say you had no limit so why not take advantage of it before he changes his mind ".
Nectar laughed loudly, " You're so smart Reli. I'll go get the kids ". Nectar knew the treasury was full but she didn't want to empty it. Maybe enough to slightly increase the nobles taxes but nothing too much. Fist pumping, she walked into the palace " I declare today shop till you drop ".

" Your empress is quite odd, don't you think Eros ". Eros only glared at the smoky version of Pashidowl, " Yes she is ". Pashidowl circled him and chuckled, " The first phase of the Trewa eclipse will be coming soon. You must find a way to make her fall in love with you before then ".
Eros shook his head, " That woman isn't as dumb as we thought, it won't be easy ". Pashidowl shrugged, " Then get to know her. Though many of your ancestors were lovesick, I've learnt something ".
Eros raised an eyebrow, obviously interested " And what was that "? Pashidowl laughed lowly, " All people want to be understood and made a priority. Nectar should be no different ".
If he was talking about anyone else, he might believe him but something about Nectar, from her refusal to say his name to the way she looked when he tried to let her stay by his side or the unexplainable determination to get away from him.
" I hope you're right though ". Pashidowl sighed, floating higher " If it doesn't work, it either means you've completely fucked up or she knows what we're up too ". Eros didn't pay much attention to the next one [ If she knew she what was going to happen, would she be so laid back? ]
