Covered in blood and sweat, the nauseating stench which has been permeating my nose feels a bit familiar and yet distant to me. I have been fighting for some time now and after that, I am about to battle against a very strong opponent, and for some reason, my senses seem to become sharper.

It made me feel annoyed by the stench around me.

So I quickly took off the bloody cloak and shook my blade to remove the blood on it.

Although the stench did not go away, my mood and irritation are now gone.

The gleaming sharp blade of the ax swung before my head. I could feel immense power from the weapon wielded by the general, so I dare not block it.

Instead, I tilted my body and dodge the attack.

But the general's left hand suddenly appears before my eyes as he is swinging his butcher's knife to my neck.
