The darkness should have been their cover and their friend. They could have easily done a sneak attack and caught the town unprepared. But what everyone did not expect is the bright light that suddenly chases away the darkness.

It is like a small sun that brightens the land and chases the shadows away.

Every soldier who saw this light had their eyes squinted due to its brilliance and intensity.

With the attraction of the light comes the discovery of each force. Those on the walls were seen and those on the ground were discovered.

It did not take long before the two forces glare at each other while the light lingers in the night sky.

"Attack! Charge now!" the startled imperial commanders shouted to their troops.

"Archers attack!" shouted the officers that are standing behind the battlement on the top of the walls.
