Bab 147: The brothers who never talked

'Are you sure about that?' Fu Jie questioned in disbelief, 'He looks pretty human to me.' 

'Didn't Chuanfu look human to you too?' 

'...' Fu Jie was silent as he had no answer for this question.

"Little kid, what are you doing here? Did you get lost or something?"  Fu Jie's voice didn't sound very kind but it didn't sound harsh either as he asked the child. 

The child pouted as he shook his head and spoke in his little voice that was barely audible, "Big brother, I'm scared." 

Fu Jie gulped as he saw the child looking at him with such big round eyes.

'HuiXieye, this kid is a bit cute...!'

'Master, don't be tricked by that thing!' HuiXieye warned out once again but just like Fu Jie had ignored the warning before, he ignored it once again. 

"Big brother, are you going to protect me?" The child asked weakly and his eyes looked to be pleading and hoping as he looked up at Fu Jie.
