He came here with great hopes thinking that there were finally people who would worry about him but instead of meeting such so-called worried people, he met a stranger working in the inn who informed him that everyone had already left, forgetting everything about him completely.

The sword probably wanted to say something along the lines of I told you so, but it didn't want to embarrass Fu Jie even more.
