When he finally reached the house, he slammed the huge door open as he scanned the first floor before dashing right through the stairs going to the second floor when he didn't see Jess. 

"Noah!" Jess flew right into his side and he barely had time to twist his body to catch her. He was looking to his left where the receiving area can be seen but Jess came out of the door from his left, flying right into him like a bullet train. And the bullet train hugged him into a tight embrace he almost lost his breath or maybe it wasn't her but his heart that momentarily stopped breathing when he saw her running towards him.
