Bab 49: Hunting Prey
"Now that was very rude of you to attack me when I wasn't finished talking. Now that the distractions are gone, let's start over shall we?" said Alex with a smile that is not friendly while Mr. 9 and Ms. Monday were getting chills since they were afraid of what will happen to them now. "What do you want to do Asura Hands Alex? If you kill us you will be up against an organization. One person cannot go up against an organization." said Mr. 9 as he was scared of Alex and wanted to use the organization to threaten Alex to not hurt him. But he did not expect Alex to reply, "Well that is true, but I am not just one man remember? I have my crew, and my crew is not an average crew." Mr. 9 just now remembered the Asura Pirates' bounties and saw how high they were except for 'All-Seeing' Petronia, all of them have at least a $40,000,000 bounty. Alex saw that Mr. 9 was shaking and Ms. Monday having a conflicted expression and he just laughed out loud. Mr. 9 and Ms. Monday were surprised at his laughing and thought that he was looking down on them as Ms. Monday said "Are you looking down on us? If you are, then don't because it would lead to your downfall today." Alex stopped laughing and immediately cleared up the misunderstanding as he said "No, don't misunderstand me. I was laughing because of how serious you both were. I will not kill you since you seem like good people and I don't kill good people. I don't know I think you were just people who went with the wrong crowd." the pair were shocked at what he said as they were tired of the killing and just wanted to live a peaceful life. "Well, it's not that we enjoy killing but we just hate pirates, in general, that is why we kill them, but you don't seem bad Alex. What is your goal?" Alex smiled and said "My goal is to become the Pirate King and continue Gol D. Roger's legacy!" the pair was shocked but realized that the kid in front of them could probably do it. Then they continue talking since they had nothing better to do.
After talking to the pair, Alex went back to the jail and freed everyone in the jail cell, and asked the trio inside "What do you three want to do now? Are you going to continue your adventures?" the couple answered "We would like to join you since we realized that we can't travel on our own and we would want to join you guys. Even though we are weak right now, you can train us to be stronger so that we won't get stepped on by other people. Plus, we could also provide you with free music since we sing." Alex agreed with them and said " Alright then, welcome Dante and Katarina to the Asura Pirates. How about you Cierra? What are you going to do next? Are you going to join us or travel alone again?" before Cierra could answer the building shook and there were two figures that showed up when the dust finally settled. The two figures spoke after a few moments "I guess Mr. 9 and Ms. Monday are losing their touch. Seems we have to clean up their mess again Ms. Valentine." said the guy as the girl named Ms. Valentine also said "Well Mr. 5, let's just take care of them really fast. I really want to rest right now." she also used her devil fruit power which is the Vine-Vine Fruit which makes her control vines to bind people into place while Mr. 5 used his devil fruit which is the Powder-Powder Fruit which makes him summon different types of powders to subdue the enemy. (A/N: The canon Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine don't exist yet because they are still young, so I just made my own. I hope you all like it.)
When the pair summoned their Devil Fruit powers, Alex's crew also did the same and as of now, it was only Alex, Robin, and Law who had Devil Fruits so the other crew members would have to fight the bounty hunters on the island. As they summoned their fruits, the bounty hunters on the island that numbered almost five hundred people appeared behind Mr. 5 and Ms. Valentine. "Alright everyone, it's time to hunt some pirates!" said Mr. 5 as he was excited to claim the bounties of the Asura Pirates. The bounty hunters immediately charged forward to the Asura Pirates while Alex told his crew the plan. "This is the plan guys, so Robin and I will face Ms. Valentine and Mr. 5 over there, while you all face the bounty hunters. Franco, you will be the leader of this group so it's your responsibility to arrange them however you want. Is the plan clear?" the crew nodded and were ready to fight except the trio behind them and Petronia since she doesn't know how to fight yet. "Alright, let's hunt some prey." Alex said as he charged towards Mr. 5 while summoning his first stage of his Devil Fruit. Mr. 5 was surprised when he saw Alex grew eight more arms and he felt that Alex had gotten faster and stronger. Still, Mr. 5 wasn't surprised as he threw some sleeping powder at Alex hoping that he would get drowsy and slow down. Mr. 5 then charged towards Alex and met with his fist but was blasted away because of the strength that Alex showed. 'Damn it, I ain't losing to a brat like him. Not today.' thought Mr. 5 as he once again charged at Alex.
(Scene Change)
Robin was now against Ms. Valentine as they both have Devil Fruits that can function in a similar way. Robin's Devil Fruit can immobilize people when she used her hands to plant them in place while Ms. Valentine's Devil Fruit can bind people into place using her vines. "Ara~ Ara~, I never thought that I'd get to fight the Devil Child. It seems I need to be serious about this fight, don't ya think?" said Ms. Valentine as she was taunting Robin, but unfortunately Robin wasn't falling for that and said while yawning "I don't know about you, but I don't think I'll be using my full power on you. It's too troublesome." Ms. Valentine was angry that she was looking down on her and immediately summoned her vines and tried to bind Robin. Robin saw this and jumped upwards and used her fruit powers to quickly end the fight but Ms. Valentine dodged and quickly regained her balance to summon more vines as she said "Is this all you got Devil Child? Maybe we should just drop the Devil since you're only a child in my eyes." Robin still remained emotionless as she was being taunted by Ms. Valentine because she was silently preparing her attacks. Ms. Valentine wondered what was wrong but realized too late as around ten hands covered with Armament Haki were being shot towards her and impaled different areas of her body and she fainted. "Shut up, you talk too much."
