Bab 91: The Least I Could Do

The hospital let Eden go as promised after her overnight observation. They told her she needed to take it easy and get a lot of rest for the next 7-10 days and gave her a doctor's note to excuse her from work. 

Fantastic. What was she supposed to do alone with her thoughts for the next 7-10 days? She had been staying too busy to think for a reason!

Now her thoughts were even more muddled because Jonah Kelly had been thrown into the mix. Had he helped her because of Troy or what? Wondering made her even more miserable than she already had been. 

It didn't help that she was in pain and supposed to avoid doing a bunch of things either. Most of the next week was spent either sleeping or lying around in the dark. 

Ezra freaked out on her when he heard what happened too, which didn't help things. His smothery concern was both touching and annoying. Especially when he started looking up what to do/not to do with a concussion and spouting off lists.
