Bab 117: A Bitter Truth

I glanced at the clock on my nightstand, noting that it was close to midnight before packing away my clothes into the wardrobe. It took me several hours just to finish unpacking my boxes for just my bedroom but now I only had a couple left for the finishing touches.

I recall Cain asking me to drop by later in the evening without Orion's knowledge, so I decided to take a break to see what he had to say that he had me waiting the entirety of the day that he couldn't in public. ... Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm beginning to get a little giddy again.

And just as the excitement riled me up, it stirred the memory of the time I was so forward with Cain in public (mind you)— that I immediately feel my body warm from embarrassment. Agh! I can't believe I did that! Was I trying to get him to touch me in public! Ahhh! Since when was I that bold!?
