I furrowed my brows, folding my arms with a frown as I was sat beside Melody. My eyes still felt itchy, but the pain had mostly died down after an hour of pressing my eyes against a pack of ice wrapped in a cloth.

Cain had come to my rescue— sort of, as he was the student council's secretary. I had no idea how he managed to rake that role a few months after enrolling in this school but that's just the norm for him I guess.

"Do your eyes still hurt?" Cain asks, placing a concerned hand on my back as he slowly rubs it.

"Hmph... The person who sprayed it should also try and experience it themselves. Jumping to conclusions just because of an inflated ego." I grumbled, huffing in annoyance as I turned away from the girl on my left.
