If Brian hadn't known how to act so well, I could have seen his panic. Neither of us knew how she had been able to get there before us. It was impossible. We had taken the fast route... Unless she had a sister, which she did not.

"Boss."

She didn't speak, she was short of breath, she just nodded. She had arrived after us.

She offered us a seat and asked us to talk. We reported what we did on the mission and kept quiet about what we saw in the bar. Brian later explained to me that before he pushed me out of there he saw something else that he didn't think much of until the Winter Palace happened. There was another person there who ruined our lives. Brian and I, of course, the rest of the group got off scot-free.

But at that moment, in the office, we just wanted to know what the hell Maisie was doing there.

"Boss, are you all right?"

She nodded without speaking.

Asthmatic - how would she have passed the tests?

"Do you need anything else from us, Miss?"

She denied.
