Farious' soul is fully recovered but he isn't showing any signs of awakening from his slumber. I guess that his consciousness is in his Soul Dimension and he is currently recovering the memories that were sealed by the memory seal.

To what Farious is currently experiencing, it might seem like a dream to him as his memories are being replayed that to simplify his condition, it is better to describe what Farious is experiencing is similar to when a person is experiencing flashbacks.

But in this case, Farious' flashbacks are much longer so it isn't farfetched to claim that Farious is dreaming about his past.
