Bab 42: Back Where It Started

 The area has been cordoned off, caution tapes separating it from the rest of the building . 

It is dark, the bare glimpse of the faint light coming from the moons outside casting a shadow on the walls as I go. No one else is around, I made sure of such. I am alone. 

 Here I am, where it all started, the murder scene of Governor Matins. 

 It is annoying to think about it, really, how one single death can cause such trouble for us, how the mystery shrouding this incident is causing us such a headache. So much hidden in the mist, so much to uncover, and so much at stake. 

And now here I am I am, where Samuel Pearson allegedly killed Governor Matins for corruption. Emphasis on the allegedly of course, as that fact remains to be proven.
